  • University studies in London (UK) and the United States. Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations.
  • Since the late 1970s: Journalistic work for the BBC and Independent TV in the UK.
  • 1996: Executive Producer/Station Manager for a private independent FM Radio Station in Accra, Ghana.
  • 2000: Public Information Officer of the UN Information Centre, Accra, Ghana.
  • Since 2001: Media trainer/lecturer in broadcast journalism, elections reporting, peace radio, radio programming-design and implementation in Africa.
  • 2001: Public Information Officer, Acting Spokesperson and Executive Producer “Voice of Children” – Radio Project (UN Office for Children and Armed Conflict) in the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone.
  • 2002: Elections Information Officer in the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone.
  • 2003: Chief of UN Radio and Ag. Deputy Chief of Public Information for the United Nations Mission in Liberia.
  • Since 2005: Course Facilitator/Trainer on Media in Peace Support Operations at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre and Consultant/ Facilitator for the Pearson Peacekeeping Training Centre in Canada.
  • Since 2011: Africa Director for Wayamo Communication Foundation engaged in media training on Conflict Sensitive Journalism, Hate Speech, Elections Reporting, and the International Criminal Court.
