Naazlin Dadani

  • Born 1977 in Mombasa, Kenya and raised in the USA.
  • Worked within the social service sector which includes resettling refugees, on scene crisis intervention with victims of crimes, working with high risk youth with drug and alcohol addictions, helping single female-headed households transition from the welfare system to self-sufficiency.
  • Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Denver, Denver, USA.
  • Master of Arts in Developing Studies at the Institute of Social Sciences, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations at the University of Colorado, Denver, USA.
  • Since 2013: Assist Wayamo with organising meetings and side events in Netherlands.
  • 2014: Pioneered the first Consortium in Darfur, Sudan and developed concept note for long-term development and recovery process in Darfur focused on peace-building, sustainable livelihoods, WASH, and educational services.
  • 2012: Worked in refugee camps in East Africa to conduct interviews and prepare case files for refugees applying to re-settle in the USA.
  • 2011: First female Programme Manager for SSEWA-PAK, a local NGO in Mirpurkhas, Pakistan. Managed 12 programs across Pakistan for water and sanitation, women’s empowerment and education, flood relief, food security, and the construction of shelters and schools.
  • Languages: English, Kachi (dialect of Hindi) and learning Dutch.
