Elise Carreau

  • Born August 2, 1990 in Annecy, France.
  • University studies in Le Havre (France), Kyoto (Japan) and Paris. Master’s Degree in International Public Management, Sciences Po Paris.
  • 2010: Internship at Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia in the French Cooperation Department. Organised and drafted the convention of the new Master Program of Public Management between ENA (Ecole National d’Administration) and the University.
  • 2011: Internship at INTERPOL, France in the Maritime Security & Administration Directorates.
  • 2013-2014: Project Assistant at INTERPOL, France, Maritime Security Sub-Directorate. Organized three case coordination meetings and four Joint Investigation Team meetings in East Africa for lead Maritime Piracy Investigators and Prosecutors. Co-organized, with the European Union, the Conference on “Combating Transnational Organized Crime at Sea” gathering 150 representatives.
  • 2015-2016: Head of Mission at PL4Y International, Kosovo. Represented PL4Y International in the country and managed a team of 11 staff. Signed partnerships agreements with Ministries and with 14 local partners (municipalities, youth centers and local NGOs), raised funds and applied to calls for proposals, reported back to donors, evaluated project activities, evaluated staff, prepared financial reports, reported back to headquarters.
  • Since 2017: Project Manager for the Wayamo Foundation. Support and monitor the overall implementation of the Justice & Accountability project in Nigeria, the Fighting Impunity & Ensuring Accountability in East Africa project, the South African-German International Justice Dialogue and the various side events of the Foundation.
  • Languages: French (mother tongue), English, Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian.
